Clubhouse

With an expansive terrace overlooking the lake and a cozy mountain lodge atmosphere, the Biltmore Lake clubhouse provides an idyllic setting for social events. Year-round, residents and guests can curl up in front of the inviting fireplace with a book from the exchange library, experience the beauty of a brilliant sunset over the mountains, sip on complimentary coffee, enjoy the free wireless internet connection, or simply meet neighbors and relax during a leisurely afternoon.

The clubhouse has a long-established history as a community focal point since its opening as the Enka Lake Club in 1930. Built by nearby Dutch textile manufacturer, American Enka Corporation, which made parachutes and other goods during WWII, the clubhouse played host to social events throughout the twentieth century. Today, Biltmore Lake is proud to continue the tradition by cultivating, encouraging, and organizing community activities.
